Kamala has a man problem, and belittling men is making it worse

Late last week, an inconvenient truth became clear to Kamala Harris' campaign, and to the left as a whole: They have a problem with men.

Men are not interested in her. And now Veep is losing support with black male voters as President Trump increasingly appeals to traditionally Democratic voters.

According to the New York Times' Siena Poll, Trump has an 11-point lead over Harris among men.

And now, with three weeks until Election Day, the campaign and its surrogates are calling out “Virgin Mary,” or “Our Father,” to appeal to not-so-equal men and women.

Incredibly, their strategy to lure men into reckless presidential candidacy is to belittle them, call them misogynists, and reduce them to Carhartt caricatures.

It was as if they were saying hug my Bud Light and see the damage of J.D. Vance's unforgettable “childless cat lady” comment in 2021.

On Thursday, President Barack Obama scolded a group of Black men in Pittsburgh for their lack of “energy” toward Harris.

“I have a problem with that, because in part it makes you think, and I'm talking directly to men right now, that you just don't feel the idea of getting married. Because it makes you think.'' A woman as president. ” he said.

Unsurprisingly, it caused quite a bit of backlash. Although I don't think “The View” host Sunny Hostin wrapped things up smoothly on Monday by saying, “We've got to reach out to all those stupid crazy black men who voted for Trump.”

Nice.

Over the weekend, Tim Walz went pheasant hunting, which led to unfortunate comparisons to Elmer Fudd and accusations of LARPing.

And this push wasn't without its fun. It wasn't intentional. On Friday morning, the hilarious “Man Enough” commercial was released online. This is not an official advertisement for Harris/Waltz, but it was created by a group of creators trying to elect Harris/Waltz.

The ad features a variety of male actors dressed in flannels, jeans, and gym clothes, and the male actor standing in the back of a pickup truck also looks classier and more understated than his gritty blue-collar look. The actors all took turns showing off their typical sincerity.

The actor boasted in a ProHarris ad that he was man enough to vote for a woman. @GrageDustin/X

They were man enough to cook steaks rare, drink double barrel bourbon, and fix carburetors.

One actor declared that he was “man enough to do 500 deadlifts.''[lbs] And I braided my daughter's hair. ”

What's the point? They were also male enough to support a female president.

Jen Psaki said Doug Emhoff “changed the perception of masculinity.” MSNBC

“I love women and I'm man enough to help them win,” one declared.

It was so disgusting and pandering that I wondered if the director, a guy named Jacob Reed, ever actually met a wild bastard, a guy who didn't carry an NPR tote. Please, I was interested.

Everything seemed to come to a head last week, but this man's amputation didn't just fall from a coconut tree.

For the better part of the past decade, the left and all cultural institutions under its control have wiped out men and made traditional masculinity toxic with mantras like “Men are trash” and “The future is women.” We have expanded this idea. (You can't even define a woman.)

The Harris Waltz campaign created this camouflage cap, which initially became a hot topic among supporters. kamalaharris.com

Men lag behind in terms of education and wages. The Harris campaign's solution was to go all-in on abortion and assume she could win the campaign.

To appeal to men, they chose Waltz. Waltz is all about guns, football, and military service, but he doesn't carry the weight of a Neanderthal. he was a feminist. It turns out he's also a serial hoaxer.

They gave us “Wives' Man” Doug Emhoff. As Jen Psaki says, he “reshaped the perception of masculinity.” This is his claim despite allegedly hitting his nanny and slapping his girlfriend The camp denied.

These city slickers are also reclaiming their camouflage hats to cosplay as red-blooded red-blooded Americans.

They create isolated Zoom calls like “White Dudes for Harris,” where celebrities like Jeff Bridges and Mark Ruffalo come together and revel in how great it is that a woman is elected. This strengthened the support of men. On that call, singer Josh Groban talked about white male privilege.

The elites promoted their shiny identity politics while providing nothing for the men across this country who are struggling to put food on the table and feed their families. (It should be noted, however, that Republicans have struggled to formulate a coherent message in the post-law era).

The problem is that society has stopped listening to men and their concerns. They were told to fit into a neat, submissive box so that women could take charge. They were then called mansplainers.

The left acted as if it needed re-education and re-branding, but it wasn't engaged.

And it might just cost them the election.
