Kathy Griffin Questions Trump’s Election Win
Comedian Kathy Griffin expressed skepticism about President Donald Trump’s victory in the 2024 presidential election, mentioning that she isn’t concerned about being labeled a “Tinfoil hat” thinker for her views.
“I honestly don’t believe he won a free and fair election this time,” Griffin said during a Substack Live discussion, alongside writer E. Jean Carroll. This was shared on Griffin’s YouTube channel, addressing the election results.
“That’s just my humble opinion,” she added, acknowledging that some might disagree with her take.
In a segment highlighted by Jason Cohen from Daily Caller, Griffin commented on Elon Musk and various proposals linked to Trump, including a plan to cut $2 trillion from the federal budget. Musk had previously critiqued some of Trump’s initiatives.
Interestingly, Griffin also mentioned her doubts about Musk’s credibility, saying, “I have my reservations.” At 64, she admitted that it feels unusual to voice such concerns, but she felt compelled to speak out, noting her knack for stirring up controversy.
Carroll, who has accused Trump of sexual misconduct from the 1990s, supported Griffin, stating, “There’s a wave of people who agree with you.” She expressed her own uncertainties too, mentioning, “I’m feeling like a loud voice now. I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but something about him winning all the swing states feels off.” Yet, she questioned whether they would uncover any truths in their lifetimes.
In another recent chat with Don Lemon, Griffin reiterated, “I really don’t believe Trump won in a fair election. It feels like it was manipulated.” It’s clear she has strong feelings about this topic, and her outspokenness continues to garner attention.
