Exclusive: Ben Luna, a conservative Latino activist and Republican candidate who is running to flip a Democratic-held Senate seat in New Mexico, told Fox News Digital this week that Hispanic voters believe in values as a community. He said he has been “blindsided” by Democratic policies that are inconsistent with the Democratic Party's policies.
Mr. Luna is a political outsider who has never held elected office and is a faith-based organization aimed at educating Latinos with conservative values and empowering them to leave the Democratic Party. For the past year, he has been the state director for the LEXIT movement in New Mexico.
He believes that Latinos are “waking up” to how their values contrast with the policies being pushed by Democrats, and that such changes will result in nearly 50% of the population being Hispanic. I think there is a possibility that New Mexico, which is made up of systems, could be completely reversed. November.

“A big reason is that we're enforcing transgender ideology and enforcing it in schools. This is a big problem for all parents, especially Latinos and Hispanics across the country.” Asked whether Latinos would abandon the Democrats they traditionally support, Luna said: You can get most of the support from the community.
“Once you come in, you have, in a sense, bridged the gap that violates the conscience of our children. Once you do that, the only thing we will endure for the rest of our lives is The result is that you will never have access to our children again,” he said.
Recent polls suggest that the Republican Party continues to grow its support among Latino voters, a trend that gained widespread attention for the first time in 2021. One poll even showed President Biden, who won 59% of the Latino vote in 2020, trailing former President Donald Trump in a hypothetical 2024 rematch among demographics.

Luna said Democrats are creating what he called a “nonstop movement” that won't end until the people implementing such policies are voted out of office and the education system is fixed.

“That's the dangerous part, if you look at the parallels in history, what the communists did, what the socialists did. They reached out to children and forced their ideology on them. , created a generation that will be available to them in the future.' And that's what we're seeing on the streets of America,'' he said.
Luna said one of the priorities of the movement is to reach out to Democrats in Albuquerque, the party's stronghold, and upstate to share information about what bills Democrats actually support. He said that this is often invisible and unheard. of.

“Once they hear that, they're like, 'Did my party pass that?' Then they start distancing themselves. Most of us have volunteers right away,” he added. .
Election analysts and party pollsters view New Mexico as a safe seat for Democrats, but they say the state's recent election results show a Republican victory is well within reach. Luna insists.

“The really interesting thing that happened in 2022 was that we lost a large state House seat by less than 100 votes, but that was because the economy was shut down. [Democrats] Everything stopped here. We have had the worst policies and mandates imposed on New Mexicans,” he said, referring to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Luna said such policies are driving people to leave New Mexico, and now imposing transgender ideology on them and ignoring parental consent is pushing those who remain in the state into the Republican Party. He argued that it would encourage supporters.

“I always say this about Republican states and blue states: We in blue states have a lot to fight for, just like we have a lot. “No one is fighting for us. We have to stand up for ourselves,” he said.
Luna told Fox that if elected, he would reflect his knowledge and high regard for America's founding principles and would focus on securing the southern border amid the influx of migrants under the Biden administration. .

“I think the biggest issue is really our borders…With Texas tightening their borders and Arizona doing their best as well, we're wide open like a funnel. “We're exposed to a lot of crime that comes with drugs,” he said.
“If we don't have borders, then we're not technically a nation. And when you look at what happened to Israel with just 1,000 people who crossed the border, many people are actually “I'm bracing myself for something to happen in the state of Mexico, Mexico and the United States,” he said.
