Letitia James allegedly listed her father as her husband as fraud accusations take wild turn

A swirling conspiracy has deepened over Democrat New York Attorney General Leticia James. According to members of the Trump administration, not only did James forged records in connection with multiple properties, but even listed his father as his husband to secure a mortgage.

Over the past few weeks, allegations have surfaced that James, 66, had purchased a home in Norfolk, Virginia in August 2023. In a document related to the purchase, James pledged to use the home as a “main residence.”

As primary housing is considered to be less risky to lenders than secondary housing, a strong motivation to commit to using the home as its primary housing is to ensure better loan terms.

President Donald Trump has lit the allegations nationwide by posting a report about them Social Media Sunday night. In his message of attendance, he called James a “completely corrupt politician” and a “strange con man” who should “resign immediately.”

Within hours, William Plute, director of the U.S. Federal Housing and Finance Agency, wrote to Attorney General Pam Bondy and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche to the Associate Attorney General introducing James for a criminal investigation.

“This was a long time ago, but it raises serious concerns about James’ validity. [sic] An announcement regarding mortgage application. ”

In addition to alleged misrepresentation of documents related to the Norfolk home, Pulte allegedly claimed that James had forged records related to Brooklyn, New York and property. The property was listed as having five units in January 2001 after purchasing the property the following month, but James is said to have listed the facility as having only four units.

According to Pulte, the purpose of losing the number of units is to secure loans from. Fannie May and Freddie Macfederal government organizations under the scope of FHFA. To qualify for a conforming loan, there are no more than four units of real estate.

“For both of the above properties, it appears that James forged records to meet certain lending requirements and receive favorable loan terms,” Pulte writes.

Pulte further alleged that James had a history of submitting fraudulent real estate documents dating back to the early 1980s. In 1983, James and her father appeared to sign a document claiming they were husband and wife to secure a mortgage at home, Pulte said.

In other documents dated May 4, 2000, “Mr. James was once again listed as ‘Husband and Wife’,” Pulte added, but it is unclear whether her father was also mentioned in those documents.

“This was a long time ago, but it raises serious concerns about James’ validity. [sic] “Representations regarding a mortgage application,” Pulte argued.

Due to the apparent patterns of James’ lies and obfuscation to game lending systems, Pulte recommended the Department of Justice to find out whether she committed wire, mail and bank fraud and make false statements to financial institutions such as other crimes.

In a statement, James’ spokesman has completely threw the specific allegations in full, suggesting instead that the Trump administration’s “bullying” is attempting to “arm” the federal government against legal integration officials.

“Attorney General James has a daily focus on protecting New Yorkers, particularly as this administration weaponizes the federal government against the rule of law and the constitution. She is not threatened by bullies.

‘[James] He argued that these techniques were important and that strong people should not be given a free pass.

The turn of events is even more surprising given the accusations that James was lobbed in Trump and Trump’s organization.

Just two months after purchasing the Norfolk home in October 2023, and when she was supposed to make it a “major residence,” James launched a civil lawsuit against the Trump organization, claiming overvalued property to negotiate better deals with banks and insurance companies.

The ju umpire slapped the organization with a staggering $455 million decision. The ruling is currently being appealed, and members of the New York Court of Appeals have shown support for overturning it or at least reducing it in the future.

Now that James faces similar allegations, the left and its media allies are denounced strict retaliation administrations against Democratic officials like James who engaged in a legal campaign against Trump. Daily Beast Trump claimed he wanted “revenge” with a criminal referral from Pulte.

However, others, including legal scholar Jonathan Turley, pointed out that James set high standards, no matter how minor, from the organization with his name, regarding Trump and his false liability. If she is held to the same standards, Tarly noted that she will likely be short.

“She insisted that these techniques are important and that strong people should not be given a free pass,” Turley explained to Laura Ingraham. Fox News Tuesday night. “Well, that bill has expired.”

DOJ did not respond to requests for comment from “Ingraham Angle.”
