A California Christian bookstore owner was left paralyzed after being shot outside his store in front of his wife and three children, with the suspects still at large.
On April 6, Luis Hernandez, who runs Libreria Cristiana Y Distribuidora ALITO (ALITO Christian Bookstore and Retailer) in Los Angeles, was closing up his shop with his family when a suspect jumped out of his car and opened fire. It hit the lower spine. .
Nora Flores, Hernandez’s cousin, wrote: Fundraising activities The father of three was in “critical condition” after the shooting, he posted.

“We are just trying to process the news,” Flores added. “It will definitely change everything in his life.”
Los Angeles police say they are searching for two suspects, a Hispanic man and a Hispanic woman, who fled the scene in a gray Toyota Camry.
The GoFundMe has so far raised more than $7,200 for Hernandez’s medical expenses.
