A Memphis man allegedly vandalized a gas pump after police refused to let him use the restroom. Go to newly released video.
The video shows the driver of a white Chevrolet Impala rushing to the station. He got angry and got out of the car and started venting his anger on one of the pumps. I slammed the pump on the ground, shook it violently, and slammed it against the ground until the nozzle finally came off and the gas started flowing out.
According to the gas station employee who watched everything go down on September 16th, when he was first denied entry to the restroom, he got so angry that he left the store and threw a rock at the store window. He said he threw it.
The man fled to an unknown location and is currently being sought by Memphis police. He is wanted on charges of criminal damage to property.
