Man killed, two others injured in triple shooting outside NYC public housing complex

Three people opened fire outside a Brooklyn public housing complex on Monday, killing one man and wounding two others, police said.

According to the NYPD, the shooting occurred around 5:20 p.m. near NYCHA's Lafayette Gardens House on DeKalb Street in Bedford-Stuyvesant.

A 32-year-old man who was shot in the head was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 26-year-old man was also shot in the abdomen and shoulder, and a 33-year-old man also suffered a gunshot wound to the torso, police said.

The two surviving men were taken to NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital in critical condition.

No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing, the NYPD said.
