A homeless man wearing a blonde wig, makeup and a pearl necklace is accused of trying to abduct an 11-year-old boy outside his Ohio home.
According to According to the Alliance Police Department, 39-year-old Joshua Freyermuth was arrested Sunday after allegedly attempting to abduct the juvenile that same day.
“He took off his heels – my son says he was wearing white heels – and ran down the street.”
Freiermuth allegedly approached the boy outside his home in Alliance, about 30 miles southeast of Akron.

“I need to talk to you,” Freiermuth told the child, the police report states.
WOIO TV The boy refused, and Freiermuth reported he tried to grab him on South Webb Avenue.
The alleged victim claims that her family's dog attacked the suspect, allowing her to escape.
“He grabbed my son's arm and my dog attacked him and he stumbled down the stairs,” the child's father, Zachary Thurmond, told WOIO. “He took off his high heels — my son said he had white high heels on — and ran down the street.”
The father chased the male.
Alliance Police said They had enough evidence to make an arrest.
Police also noted there had been a significant response on social media, and an Alliance police spokesman said Freiermuth's arrest was “probably just the right thing for his safety” as many people “decided to take matters into their own hands.”
However, Freiermuth denies the allegations.
During her arraignment in Alliance Municipal Court on Monday on the attempted kidnapping charge, Freiermuth, still wearing her blonde wig, told the judge, “I wasn't there. I wasn't trying to kidnap anybody.”
The suspect claimed he had an alibi and was at a friend's house at the time the attempted child abduction allegedly occurred.
Freiermuth's bail was set at $100,000 and he was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
Freiermuth was also arrested Friday on a drug possession charge after methamphetamine was found in his vehicle, police said.
Police said they pulled Freyremuth over after receiving a report of a suspect attempting to talk to children in a vehicle. New York Post.
Freyremuth's mugshot at the time of his arrest showed him wearing a different wig, and he was released on bail on the charge.
