During an interview with Health and Human Services Director Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that aired on CNN’s “Source” on Thursday, host Kaitlan Collins expressed that the media did not play a role in promoting skepticism, critical thinking, or individual decision-making during the COVID-19 pandemic.
At the conclusion of the interview, Kennedy remarked, “I am skeptical of authority. My father once told me that those in authority often lie. And we witnessed a lot of that in our country. The media also lied, and people judged for themselves, remained skeptical, and upheld their critical thinking skills.”
To this, Collins responded, “I disagree with that last part. Thank you for your time, Secretary Kennedy.”
Earlier in the discussion, Collins challenged him on whether he had stated “trust the experts.”
