According to reports, Meghan Markle informed her father, Thomas Markle Sr., in a letter that he would never meet her children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. This communication came before allegations of child sexual abuse material against him.
The Duchess of Sussex, aged 45, accused her father, who is 82, of abusing children and mentioned that authorities were aware of his alleged actions, as detailed by a source.
Meghan indicated that this would be the last communication he would receive from her.
The letter was supposedly sent after Thomas Sr. underwent leg amputation surgery in December 2025 due to complications from a blood clot. At that time, he was hospitalized in the Philippines. Reportedly, Meghan took extra steps to make sure he got the letter by working with hospital staff to ensure its delivery.
It has been claimed she also included a form for him to sign, acknowledging receipt of the letter, and even had him videotaped while reading it.
At that time, Meghan faced criticism for not visiting her father during his recovery. However, her representative stated that she had been in contact with him throughout his medical ordeal.
In another twist, Meghan learned about her father’s alleged misconduct through a letter sent to the police by his ex-wife, Roslyn Loveless, in 2019. This letter eventually reached the Metropolitan Police in London, which then shared it with Meghan.
She expressed feeling “deeply distressed” by the letter’s contents, which “made troubling and disturbing allegations” against her father. Meghan emphasized that her distance from Thomas and her choice not to let him see her children was solely to protect them. She stated that she hoped others could understand her actions in light of these new revelations.

Recently, reports surfaced that Thomas Markle Jr. claimed to have discovered a collection of child sexual abuse material in his father’s home in Cebu City, Philippines. As a result, Thomas Sr. is reportedly being investigated concerning numerous illicit images involving children, after his son formally submitted the material to authorities.
In response to the allegations, Thomas Sr. has strongly denied any wrongdoing, labeling the accusations as “sick lies” and expressing his shock and hurt over the matter. Meanwhile, his daughter, Samantha Markle, sided with him, suggesting that Thomas Jr.’s motivations stem from anger over financial cutoffs.
In contrast, Thomas Jr. remains steadfast in his claims, assuring that the evidence he submitted to the police will reveal the truth.
Thomas Jr. and Samantha are Thomas Sr.’s children from his first marriage, while Meghan is from his second marriage. Currently, Thomas Sr. is reportedly residing in a nursing and rehabilitation facility in Florida. As of now, neither he nor Thomas Jr. have commented on the situation, and Meghan’s representative has not responded to inquiries either.
