The letter, which was shared exclusively with Fox, seems to have been sent as President Trump prepared for a summit in Alaska. Upon receiving it, Putin read the letter aloud in front of both American and Russian delegations.
Trump’s Take on the Summit with Putin
President Trump described the summit with Putin as a “10,” indicating he believes significant strides toward peace were made.
The letter opens with a heartfelt message: “Dear President Putin, every child shares the same quiet dream in his mind, whether born in tranquil countryside or bustling cities. They dream of love, potential, and safety.”
She continues, stating that it’s the duty of parents to inspire hope for the upcoming generations, while as leaders, it is their collective responsibility to ensure children’s well-being goes beyond just comfort.
Moreover, she remarks, “We must work towards creating a world that embodies dignity for everyone, so that all souls can awaken to peace, and the future will be safeguarded.” It’s a simple, profound message, which I think Putin might resonate with.
