Michigan High School Teacher Caught Drug Dealing in Public

A Detroit-area public school teacher has been arrested on suspicion of dealing drugs in public, police said.

Christopher Michael Filicia, 46, a teacher at Lincoln High School in Warren, Michigan, was seen by police Tuesday parking at a 7-Eleven and making a “simple transaction” with another man who arrived in another car. It was done. Macomb County Prosecutor's Office said In a statement.

Police said they attempted to conduct a traffic stop on another man, identified as D'Angelo Ramone Daniel, but he allegedly fled before he was eventually arrested.

A search warrant was then executed at the home of Daniel, who lives with Raquel Dubose and her children, and police allegedly found illegal drugs and firearms left within reach of the children. .

Police said they also found a stolen firearm when they searched DuBose's car.

A high school teacher could face up to four years in prison if convicted of felony possession of a controlled substance.

Daniel and DuBose face numerous other charges, including six felonies each and several misdemeanor counts of child abuse.
