A majority of registered voters support former President Donald Trump's plan to mass deport all illegal aliens from the United States, the Pew Research Center has announced. investigation reveal.
The survey found that 56% of voters, including nearly 3 in 10 Kamala Harris supporters and 88% of Trump supporters, said they didn't want President Trump to tout mass immigration to solve the nation's record illegal immigration problem. It turns out that he supports the deportation plan.
Americans continue to say in poll after poll that they support mass deportation.
The latest NPR poll found that about 60% of mainstream voters oppose deporting all illegal aliens from the United States, while a YouGov poll found that 56% of voters said the same. A similar poll conducted by Harvard University and Harris University showed that 62 percent of voters also supported mass deportations.
A Pew Research Center study details the broader problems Americans increasingly have with illegal immigration. In particular, a majority of voters said they were “deeply concerned” about a record wave of illegal immigration under Harris and President Joe Biden.
Similarly, 7 in 10 voters say illegal aliens strain public resources, 64% say illegal aliens make crime worse, and 56% say illegal aliens are a strain on public resources. 47% said illegal immigrants are hurting cultural values.
More than 10 million immigrants have arrived at the border since Biden and Harris took office in January 2021, making it the largest wave of illegal immigration in U.S. history.
Mark Krikorian, director of the Center for Immigration Studies, told Congress that the official Biden-Harris policy is “unrestricted immigration” without regard to the impact on Americans.
