Murder of Music Executive and Husband Investigated

A shocking incident has emerged involving the murder of an executive from “American Idol” and her husband. Reports suggest the suspect, identified as Raymond Boudarian, 22, allegedly used the couple’s own firearms to kill them when they unexpectedly returned home.

This tragic event reportedly took place on July 10, when Boudarian is said to have broken into the couple’s residence. Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman shared further details during a city meeting on Monday, indicating that Boudarian had even called 911 himself, giving his own name in the process. This call led authorities to pursue him after the bodies were discovered on July 14.

Kay and Delca had been reported missing by friends who had not heard from them for a few days. When the LAPD conducted welfare checks at their Encino home, they discovered serious signs of distress upon entering. Police had to break a window to gain access, where they ultimately found the couple had been shot.

Initially, two calls about the robbery had prompted a police response on July 10; however, there appeared to be no forced entry at the time. The property was well-secured, with significant barriers preventing easy access.

Boudarian has been charged with two counts of murder and one of first-degree robbery. If convicted, he could face life imprisonment without the possibility of parole or even the death penalty. The community is now in a state of shock and fear, with residents expressing concerns about rising crime. As Heather Michaels from the Encino Neighborhood Council stated, “This murder could have been avoided… Many seniors don’t even want to leave their homes.”

In response, local authorities have increased patrols in the Encino area during the nighttime hours.
