New Jersey High School Students Vandalize School in Chaotic Night

Students at Manchester Township High School engaged in a night of vandalism and chaos, resulting in suspensions and bans for some upperclassmen from graduation. This incident took place on June 17.

During the break-in, the students reportedly damaged various parts of the school, throwing trash around, scrawling obscenities on the roof, and even affecting a pickup truck parked nearby. This has been reported by a local radio station.

According to district Superintendent Diane Pedrosa, the students had been given the opportunity to participate in “advanced pranks” prior to the last school day. However, their actions clearly crossed the line of what was expected.

Strangely enough, among the chaos, signs appeared declaring the school as “For Sale!” These signs were placed at the entrance along Route 37, located about 15 miles from the Jersey Shore.

Footage shows toilet paper draped at the front door, along with graffiti that read, “I got Plunke.” Further reports indicate that the letter “d” was inscribed on a walkway outside the school.

Inside the building, many rooms and hallways were strewn with toilet paper, balloons, and banners, creating a festive yet chaotic atmosphere.

Photos captured numerous students perched above the school’s entrance, some documenting the scene from various angles, including one showing an RV and teens lounging inside as toilet paper hung along the entrance’s tree line.

Timestamped videos show activities recorded between 3:45 a.m. and 5 a.m., highlighting different moments of the vandalism.

Afterward, authorities discovered offensive graffiti that had been scrawled on school property. Pedrosa indicated that appropriate disciplinary measures would follow district policies and the student code of conduct. However, further comments were withheld due to an ongoing investigation.

At least one student faced expulsion, and several others were suspended, which meant that some seniors were denied participation in the graduation ceremony held in the gymnasium.

As of now, no one has been formally charged with vandalism connected to the incident, but there are ongoing investigations factoring in all involved, including both juveniles and adults.
