A public school teacher in New York City has been discovered hosting a podcast filled with extreme anti-Semitic conspiracy theories, notably while sporting a homemade tinfoil hat. This comes from information gathered by The Post.
George Trim, a 43-year-old social studies teacher at IS 281 in Bath Beach, Brooklyn, actively shares peculiar videos on his YouTube channel, Cartoonking365, which he launched on April 26, 2015.
Through a comparison of images from his YouTube profile and those posted on the school’s Instagram, the newspaper identified Trim.
His channel, MMEEDUCATING, features various conspiracy endorsements, with Trim donning unusual costumes like tinfoil hats and Guy Fawkes masks.
In a July 8 video, Trim, who earned $110,848 last year, promoted an anti-Semitic conspiracy involving WTC owner Larry Silverstein, claiming he had prior knowledge of the 9/11 attacks. He exclaimed, “Before 9/11, this guy had the foresight to buy insurance against a terrorist attack on the Twin Towers. All right, Larry Silverstein, you’re you.”
In another video dated June 15, he asserted that Israel was tied to the JFK assassination, saying, “It’s not Mr. Rubenstein, it’s Jack Ruby… In Israel, he would be called Jacob Rubenstein, but in America, he is Jack Ruby.” He even suggested links between the Jewish Mafia and these events, raising questions about America’s historical narratives.
In yet another video, Trim, who has over 7,000 subscribers, claimed that the moon landing was staged. “They say, ‘You madman, why don’t you believe in the moon landing?’ Just like that, we had no ability to go to space at all… and then suddenly we did,” he argued on March 25.
Trim has been with the city’s Department of Education since 2009, receiving a salary of $110,848 in the year 2025, according to public records. He even completed a master’s degree at Mount Saint Vincent College in the Bronx in 2012.
Moshe Spern, president of the United Jewish Teachers Association, expressed concern, stating that “anti-Semitic educators and schools continue to endorse Jewish conspiracies, unchecked by administration.”
A spokesperson for the Department of Education informed The Post that the situation has been referred for investigation, emphasizing that the views shared by Trim do not align with New York City Public Schools’ values and are inappropriate for the classroom.
This incident follows an assembly at IS 281 in June 2025, where sixth graders were exposed to a speech by author Rhonda Romani, which controversially omitted Israel from a map of the Middle East and labeled the entire area as “Palestine.”
The Department of Education asserted that this speech was investigated and necessary action was taken.
New York City’s public schools have faced increasing issues with anti-Semitism and anti-Israel sentiments since the October 7, 2003 Hamas attack. Trim has not responded to requests for comment, while the DOE has remained silent on inquiries from The Post.
