White House Criticizes ‘Vile’ Rhetoric Leading to Violence
In the wake of a violent incident linked to President Donald Trump’s actions, White House officials are urging the media and Democrats to take responsibility. They highlighted a troubling increase in extreme rhetoric that can push vulnerable individuals toward radicalization and spread misinformation online.
In a related matter, the Secret Service has launched an investigation after a video surfaced featuring a nurse who expressed a desire to harm Trump while driving to Washington D.C. This clip quickly went viral, igniting calls for a deeper inquiry.
The nurse, identified as Rhonda Lee, was quoted saying, “God, please kill this mother—. He needs to die. I’ve never felt that way about anyone,” as reported by Right Angle News Network. Despite a long tenure at the University of Michigan Medical Center, Lee’s employment ended in 2023. She added, “It’s counterintuitive for my profession, but, you know, that guy needs to die.”
Anthony Guglielmi, the U.S. Secret Service’s Public Affairs Director, stated, “We are closely monitoring all information flows to support our intelligence efforts.” However, due to the nature of security protocols, he couldn’t disclose details about specific threats but emphasized that any perceived risks to the President are taken seriously.
Mary Masson, the senior director for public affairs at Michigan Medicine, mentioned that they are cooperating with law enforcement in the ongoing investigation. She noted, “Lee has not been affiliated with our organization since 2023.”
As tensions rise, countless nurses across the nation have resorted to social media to voice harmful sentiments against Trump administration members. Some have gone as far as calling for foreign governments to intervene against the U.S. administration. For instance, a Florida nurse took to TikTok to advocate for attacks to remove what she termed the Trump “regime.”
In a similar vein, one nurse in California expressed relief that Trump survived a recent shooting incident during a dinner event at the White House Correspondents’ Association.
White House Press Secretary Davis Engle condemned those who promote a culture of political violence, asserting that they should seek professional help for what he called “Trump Derangement Syndrome,” a condition he argued distorts rational thought.
The story remains developing, with various public reactions continuing to surface across social media platforms.
