Shocking video shows the moment a serial criminal pulls out a giant knife and stabs a passing tourist near Times Square in a horrifying, unprovoked attack.
Video of Saturday evening’s attack shows a man using a walker to exit the deli at West 43rd Street and Eighth Avenue, wander outside the storefront, and then lunge at an unsuspecting woman on the sidewalk. The situation is reflected.
In the video, the suspect can be seen leaving the store and sitting outside in a walker, wearing a bright yellow sweatshirt under a dark jacket and an orange hat.
Two women were seen walking towards him when he suddenly jumped up from his seat and revealed a large knife.
The footage shows the suspect limping forward and stabbing one of the women in the chest.
Two women were then seen backing away from the man, who then returned to his seat outside the storefront with a displayed knife in his lap.
Approximately two minutes later, the footage shows two officers approaching the man, forcing him to drop the knife, and handcuffing him.
The suspect in the attack, Cyril Destin, 62, has been arrested 14 times in the past 20 years, mostly for criminal mischief and trespassing, including four arrests since 2019. police sources told the Post.

Destin was taken to Bellevue and remained there Sunday morning.
Charges against him are pending.
The victim, a 46-year-old woman, was also taken to Bellevue and treated for a stab wound to the chest.
Her condition was stable on Saturday.
