Passenger duct-taped to seat on American Airlines flight for attacking flight attendant and threatening crew during strange outburst

American Airlines had quite a scene on a recent flight when a passenger reportedly became unruly and attempted to harm her father.

Ketty J. Dillone is accused of screaming and wandering the aisle during a flight to Las Vegas on September 16th, allegedly threatening several flight attendants, according to the Nevada State Attorney’s Office.

Dilone boarded the flight in Charlotte, North Carolina, after returning from the Dominican Republic.

As a result of her behavior, flight crew had to use zip ties and duct tape to restrain her.

Once secured in her seat, Dillone reportedly kicked a flight attendant and otherwise resisted being controlled.

A video shared on TikTok captured her outburst, where she could be heard claiming that the restraints were painful.

“You have no idea what I’ve been through, bitch!” she exclaimed, further escalating the situation with threatening remarks.

Dillone bizarrely confessed to having put “cockroach poison” in her father’s coffee when she was 11, stating that it was intended to be harmful. “It didn’t work,” she added nonchalantly, and mentioned that in the Dominican Republic, it’s referred to as “Tres Pasitos.”

Tres Pasitos, or “three small steps,” is a strong pesticide used in the U.S. for pest control.

At one point, she seemed to calm down and even started singing a chorus in Spanish that shared the same name as the pesticide. But that calm didn’t last long, as she soon erupted into further chaotic behavior.

She continued to express her thoughts loudly, at one point instructing, “So if you want to kill someone, use cockroach poison! Just make sure it’s not expired, and use a lot!” claiming it only puts people to sleep.

Amid a tense atmosphere onboard, Dillone continued her nonsensical rants, leading to further panic among passengers.

After the flight landed at Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, the FBI took Dillone into custody, and she was brought to the Henderson Detention Center.

She faces charges of assault for interfering with a flight crew and physically assaulting a crew member.

Dillone appeared in court for the first time on September 18th, with a preliminary hearing scheduled for October 1st. If found guilty, she could face up to 20 years in prison.
