Former President Joe Biden shared a cheerful photo over the weekend, showing him laughing alongside his daughter, Ashley. The picture was posted on his Instagram, where he expressed his gratitude for their walks and chats, adding a playful touch with the caption, “#1 Daddy.” They were out at Cape Henlopen State Park in Delaware.

Ashley, who is 44, can be seen in the picture wearing a broad smile while looking at the camera, as her father, now 82, enjoys a stroll on one of the park’s trails.

Another image captures the pair on a boardwalk by Delaware Bay. In this one, Joe Biden is dressed casually in navy blue shorts, a long-sleeved collared top, a baseball cap, and his characteristic aviator sunglasses.

This outing marks the former president’s first public appearance since he spoke at the National Bar Association’s 100th Annual Awards Gala on July 31 in Chicago. According to an announcement from his office in May, Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones.

On a different note, recent speculation has circulated online regarding former President Trump, prompted by the White House’s release of a blank schedule for public events over Labor Day weekend. This led to trending hashtags, including #TrumpisDead.

Despite the rumors, the skepticism was dispelled when a photograph surfaced showing Trump in a white polo and black pants, complemented by his signature red MAGA hat while with his granddaughter and grandson at the Trump National Golf Course in Sterling, Virginia. Although he didn’t face White House reporters on Friday, he did express his strong opposition to the tariff trade agenda, calling it illegal and warning of disastrous consequences for the nation if the tariffs were lifted.
