Las Vegas police are searching for the driver involved in a September hit-and-run crash that was incorrectly reported as a death due to an error by the Clark County Medical Examiner's Office, leaving the victim fighting for his life.

Doctors told Acosta that her husband would be in the hospital for at least two to three months until he recovered. Police continue to search for the suspect.
