Former Oregon Principal Sentenced for Child Sexual Abuse Charges
Jeremy P. Williams, the ex-principal of Rainier Middle and High School in Columbia County, Oregon, is set to serve time in prison after being charged with possessing and sharing child sexual abuse images. Previously, he was already on paid administrative leave due to comments he made about Charlie Kirk last September.
Williams, from Longview, Washington, faced multiple charges in September 2025 and received a more than five-year prison sentence as a result of the case, according to a report.
Having taken on the principal role in 2022, Williams was reportedly incarcerated at the time of his previous arrest. His comments regarding the alleged celebration of Kirk’s assassination garnered widespread attention, although the specifics of those comments remain undisclosed. Reports claim he expressed excitement about the incident on camera.
Authorities, alerted by automated notifications from social media platforms late last year, discovered that explicit images of children were being shared from an address linked to Williams. Cowlitz County Chief Detective Deputy Troy Brightbill stated there was no evidence suggesting that inappropriate images involved students from Rainier Middle/High School.
During his sentencing hearing, following a guilty plea, Williams offered a quiet apology in court. There’s some mention of his previous pride in winning an award for erotic novels, with Williams indicating that such writing gave him a sense of popularity and influence online.
As part of his sentencing, Williams has been mandated to register as a sex offender for 15 years, cover $3,000 in court costs, and undergo 36 months of community supervision following his prison term.
