‘Real Housewives’ star Ramona Singer slammed as ‘tone-deaf’ for flippant comment on California wildfires

Ramona Singer is under fire for making tone-deaf comments about the devastating fires that hit Los Angeles.

The former “Real Housewives of New York” star shared a video of herself greeting her followers on Instagram on Friday, but many thought the video's caption was problematic.

“What a great day to wake up to…unfortunately the people of Cali have no idea what the day will bring,” she wrote, along with a crying emoji along with a praying emoji.

She looks happy and relaxed in the video, with a big smile on her face and the caption: “What a beautiful morning in Florida. What a wonderful way to wake up. Look at this view… I'm so happy.” he said.

She flipped her phone's camera to reveal a gorgeous balcony overlooking the ocean and said: “It's bright and sunny. I'm going to work and play tennis. It's a beautiful day.”

On social media, “Real Housewives” fans debated her post, with many criticizing the seemingly flippant way she addressed the destruction the fires were causing.

“Glad to see Ramona Singer is keeping her New Year's resolution to always be as tone-deaf as possible,” one person joked on X.
