Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) proposed laws on Friday establishing President Donald Trump's birthday and flag day as a public holiday, Breitbart News learned exclusively.
Tenny proposed a law to establish a holiday for Trump's birthday and flag day. This is a bill that will allow both Trump's birthday and flag day on June 14th as legal holidays.
In a statement to Breitbart News, the New York lawmaker said Trump deserves a birthday along with George Washington's birthday, as “the most consequential president in modern American history.”

She said in a statement:
No modern president is as vital to our country as Donald J. Trump. As both our 45th and 47th Presidents, he is the most consequential president in modern American history and leads our nation in times of great international and domestic turmoil. From mediating the historic Abraham agreement to defending the largest tax-cut package in American history, his impact on the country cannot be denied. The bill will be added, as George Washington's birthday is codified as a federal holiday. Trump's birthday is on this list, and he recognizes him as the founder of America's golden age. Furthermore, as our country prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, we need to create a new federal holiday that honors the American flag and everything it represents. [Emphasis added]
