Scott Adams, the creator of the “Dilbert” comic strip, announced he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, which is the same type that former President Joe Biden has.

Scott Adams Reveals Cancer Diagnosis

Scott Adams, the creator behind the “Dilbert” comic strip, recently shared some heartbreaking news—he’s been diagnosed with prostate cancer. He noted that it’s the same type of cancer that former President Joe Biden has faced.

During a livestream on Monday, Adams expressed his concerns about his life expectancy. He doesn’t think he has much time left and frankly stated, “I hope to check out from this domain someday this summer.”

The 67-year-old artist mentioned in a recent episode of “Real Coffee with Scott Adams,” that he didn’t want his audience to be taken aback, as some might have already inferred his condition. “I have the same cancer as Joe Biden,” he said.

Adams elaborated, indicating that he has been dealing with the disease for a longer period than Biden has publicly acknowledged. Unfortunately, he also shared that the cancer has spread to his bones.

Pain and Struggles

Adams detailed his suffering, noting that he has been using a walker for months because of tumors around his spine. He admitted to being in constant pain, describing it as “unbearable.” “There’s no good day,” he reflected, adding that “Every day is a nightmare and the evenings are even worse.”

He emphasized the urgency of acknowledging his condition, encouraging others to “put together the matters together” and to say their goodbyes if necessary.

Empathy for Biden

Interestingly, Adams had refrained from making his diagnosis public initially, fearing that it would alter people’s perceptions of him.

He expressed his compassion for Biden and his family during their tough times. “I want to extend my respect and sympathy for the former president as they navigate these challenges,” he said.

In a related note, Biden, now 82, announced on Sunday that he was diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer, which reportedly has a high Gleason score, indicating the need for a more vigorous treatment approach.

Biden’s spokesperson commented that while it represents a more aggressive disease, it appears to be hormone-sensitive, which may allow for effective management. The diagnosis came to light after Biden experienced “increased urinary symptoms.”

Timing Under Scrutiny

Liz Wheeler, a host on BlazeTV, questioned the timing of Biden’s diagnosis, suggesting it seemed improbable for him to be unaware until recently.

On a personal note, former President Donald Trump expressed sadness over the news, extending his thoughts and hopes for a swift recovery for Biden and his family.
