Sean 'Diddy' Combs allegedly warned a rape victim to remain silent or face serious consequences: lawsuit

A recent lawsuit makes serious accusations against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging he used the murder of rapper Tupac Shakur to intimidate victims of sexual assault.

Filed this week, the lawsuit from Steve Ortiz claims that Combs drugged him in a hotel suite in Midtown in 2012, then raped him and issued chilling death threats.

The complaint details how Combs reportedly warned Ortiz, “You shouldn’t tell anyone about this,” following the alleged attack.

He allegedly added, “I’m not going to play with you. If I could hit Pac, what do you think would happen to you?”

This incident followed a troubling night where Ortiz claims Combs forced him to engage in degrading sexual acts with a woman, including sex without protection.

The lawsuit continues by stating that while Ortiz was in the bathroom, Combs demanded he return and assaulted him further, without consent.

As per court documents, Ortiz resisted, telling Combs to stop for about five minutes while he experienced significant pain.

The complaint also indicates that after this incident, Combs threatened Ortiz’s life, referencing Ortiz’s supposed connection to Tupac’s 1996 murder.

The harassment allegedly persisted; in 2014, after Ortiz commented on Combs’ Instagram, a representative of Combs threatened him again, stating, “Mr. Star” would “annihilate” people.

The lawsuit describes Combs’ threats as ongoing and self-enforcing, presenting a stark choice: “silence or death.”

Now, following Combs’ recent imprisonment for over four years after a lengthy sex crimes trial, Ortiz feels he can finally come forward with legal action against him.

Neither Combs nor Ortiz’s representatives have responded to requests for comments.

Combs currently faces nearly 70 civil lawsuits related to various charges, including sexual harassment and rape. His legal troubles notably began in late 2023 when his former girlfriend, Kathy Ventura, filed a lawsuit against him over similar allegations.
