Secret Service discovers a concerning hunting stand with a clear view of Trump's Air Force One.

Suspicious Hunting Stand Found Near Palm Beach Airport

On Thursday, the U.S. Secret Service identified a hunting platform close to Palm Beach International Airport in Florida.

Officials have indicated that this stand has a clear view of the area where President Donald Trump would exit from Air Force One.

“Before the President returned to West Palm Beach, the USSS observed what looked like a tall hunting platform within range of Air Force One’s landing strip,” a statement said.

President Trump landed on Friday at the airport, located less than five miles from downtown West Palm Beach. He intends to spend the weekend at his Mar-a-Lago residence and was seen at Trump International Golf Club on Saturday morning.

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed on Sunday that the agency has initiated an investigation following these concerning discoveries.

“The USSS has found a suspicious stand near the AF1 zone in Palm Beach,” Patel wrote on social media. “The FBI is currently looking into it.”

The purpose or identity of the individual who set up the hunting stand remains unclear.

Local sources mentioned that the ongoing FBI investigation led to road closures along Southern Avenue over the weekend.

USSS communications director Anthony Guglielmi stated that the stand was discovered during “advance security preparations” for the President’s arrival.

“No movement was affected, and no one was present at the scene,” Guglielmi noted. “While we can’t share specifics about certain items or their intended purpose, this situation underscores the significance of our layered security measures.”

The USSS is collaborating closely with the FBI and local law enforcement, according to Guglielmi.

A law enforcement source revealed that the hunting stand seemed to have been established “several months ago.”

“Ahead of the President’s return to West Palm Beach, the USSS spotted what appeared to be an elevated hunting platform within sight of Air Force One’s landing area,” Patel commented. “There were no individuals present at the scene. The FBI has since taken over the investigation, deploying personnel and using cell phone analysis to gather evidence.”
