Social media erupted after former President Joe Biden posted a nearly indistinguishable family Christmas photo to X, prompting users to humorously compare the moment to “Where’s Wally?”
The image, shared on Christmas Eve with a caption wishing everyone a peaceful and joyful holiday, sparked a wave of reactions. Observers noted that Biden was mostly hidden behind his wife, Jill Biden, while their son, Hunter Biden, took the foreground.
In fact, it’s quite hard to spot Biden in the picture, as Hunter captures the limelight. Conservative journalist Andy Go expressed bewilderment over Biden’s position, deeming the photo “disrespectful.”
A user jokingly remarked, “Hunter is now the Alpha,” while another shared a screenshot of Biden’s subdued presence, stating, “It took me a while to find you, champ.”
One commenter pointed out how Jill Biden stood directly in front of the former president, jesting, “Now we know Jill was in charge.”
Conservative blogger Mike LaChance also commented on the photo, stating it was surprising that it appeared to be real rather than edited. Prominent conservative influencer Bryn Holyhand suggested that both the American public and Biden’s family felt embarrassment about the portrayal.
Another user, referencing classic children’s puzzle books, captioned Biden’s family photo with “Where’s Wally?”
Despite the mockery, not everyone took a critical stance. One person offered well wishes, saying, “I hope you and your family have a peaceful and merry Christmas. Your strength and love is an inspiration to us all.”
Others echoed similar warm sentiments, including a wishful “Merry Christmas to the entire Biden family!”
As for a response from Biden’s representatives, there hasn’t been any reply yet concerning this social media episode.
