As the Democratic Party and various activists continue to advocate for support of illegal immigration, some educators are reportedly encouraging K-12 students to take part in protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) across the nation.
For instance, a teacher in Boston shared a video showcasing first-grade students parading in their classroom with anti-ICE signs, according to reports from Mass Daily News.
There seems to be a vested interest among teachers in the more lenient immigration policies promoted by the Biden administration. As more undocumented immigrants arrive, an increasing number of students from these families are integrated into the school system, resulting in more teachers being hired and greater funding directed to schools from various levels of government.
For example, a school in Colorado reported a significant influx of undocumented immigrant children during Biden’s presidency. In 2024, Denver allocated $356 million to support illegal immigrants, with a substantial portion benefiting local schools.
Some educators proudly support anti-ICE demonstrations. Comedian Adam Carolla pointed out another teacher who was seen coaching children to chant anti-ICE phrases.
In another instance, a middle school teacher shared a video on social media of her students joyfully crying while protesting against ICE.
One concerned parent expressed her outrage on social media about Cabrillo Middle School in Ventura, California, facilitating a walkout to support pro-immigration causes.
Additionally, a teacher named Bailey Hill Ringer from San Diego was seen holding an upside-down American flag while teaching children to protest against ICE.
Schools in Bakersfield, California, are also leading protests against ICE. This district has seen firsthand the impact of immigration issues, as exemplified by the tragic case of 7-year-old Dalila Coleman, who was seriously injured by an illegal immigrant driving a truck. She now suffers from significant brain injuries and is unable to speak, with her future uncertain.
Meanwhile, in Nebraska, the mother of a girl injured by an SUV during a school-sponsored march in support of illegal immigrants expressed her frustration after the school organized another demonstration while her daughter was still recovering from her injuries.
