Teen caught throwing snowballs at police attempted to rob subway passenger in a 'prank' video

One individual arrested for reportedly tossing snowballs at NYPD officers during a chaotic scene in Washington Square Park claimed it was merely a prank for social media. This same person had been detained weeks earlier on charges related to attempting to rob confused subway passengers.

Reports indicate that on February 6, 27-year-old Guzman Coulibaly was caught on video threatening someone and trying to demand money inside a Bronx subway station. In fact, he shared this video on his YouTube channel, where he’s known as “Diaper Man.”

The victim reportedly sprinted towards the emergency exit, seeking assistance from a man in a reflective jacket whom he mistakenly thought was MTA police.

In the video, Coulibaly is seen confronting the stranger, asking, “So, do you want to pay?” to which the man replied, “For what?” Coulibaly insisted multiple times, “My bread, Nga,” trying to get money from him.

“How much did you get? You can give me whatever you want. Well, well, I’ve been looking for you all week,” Coulibaly persisted, to which the tired stranger shot back, “I don’t even know you,” as he gathered his belongings and attempted to flee.

On Thursday, Coulibaly faced multiple charges, including assault on a police officer, obstruction of public administration, and disorderly conduct, in connection with the snowball incident with NYPD officers during a snowball fight in Washington Square Park.

At one point during the altercation, Coulibaly threatened, “If I get mad, I’ll raid your pockets, gangsta brother.” In a desperate bid to escape, the victim claimed to be a police officer, only to be met by two actual officers who intervened.

The footage later showed officers escorting Coulibaly to a wall and handcuffing him. While he was charged with attempted robbery related to the incident in the subway, reports from police indicated that he maintained his assertion that it was all a joke.

The latest charges from Thursday stem from his alleged actions involving the snowball incident in Washington Square Park.
