Last week, El Paso County Judge Ruben Morales dismissed riot charges against 211 undocumented immigrants who were caught on video rushing across the southern border and overrunning the Texas National Guard.
Mr. Morales was forced to drop the charges because the state did not issue an order to transfer the case from district court to county court, and his “hands” [are] Tied. ”
