Joe Biden’s Border Policies and Their Lasting Impact

The legacy of Joe Biden’s border policies is likely to be felt for generations, overshadowing his presidency with memories of decline. It’s estimated that between 10 to 10 million individuals have crossed into the United States illegally during his time in office, adding to an existing population of 12 to 20 million undocumented immigrants.

Almost none of this influx was thoroughly reviewed or audited.

For four years, the border saw an influx of individuals that bypassed the sort of background checks typically required for American citizens when purchasing firearms or financing loans.

Millions entered through the southern border, seemingly encouraged by the Biden administration, which exempted vaccination requirements and health checks for those who had been discharged from the military for not complying with the experimental mRNA COVID-19 vaccinations.

When citizens were required to present multiple forms of ID to obtain a mandatory “real ID” for flights in 2025, many undocumented immigrants traversed the country, often under the cover of night, without proper identification.

At one point, the Trump administration was able to deport 800 illegal immigrants, but the rate of illegal crossings increased significantly under Biden—a rate that was reportedly tenfold on a daily basis.

Under President Trump, border patrol agents deported over 8,000 individuals each day to counteract the dismantling of federal immigration laws initiated by Biden.

It is estimated that around 500,000 illegal immigrants have criminal records, which surpasses the population of Oakland, California.

Just recently, a report highlighted the daily occurrences of violent crimes committed by undocumented individuals against American citizens.

The far left defends many of these violent criminals, often focusing on political motivations rather than the harm inflicted on Americans by prioritizing the protections of those facing deportation over public safety.

Countless individuals with unknown backgrounds pose a significant risk to the public.

There are about 300,000 Chinese citizens in American universities, and many are admitted without rigorous background checks, raising concerns about their motivations for coming to the U.S.

Unfortunately, it’s not surprising that institutions like Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government have trained numerous individuals linked to the Chinese Communist Party.

At a time when the U.S. is navigating heightened tensions with China, universities are seen prioritizing enrollment from elite groups potentially aligned with interests that threaten American security.

Over the last couple of years, even without the influx of Middle Eastern students, there have been incidents involving aggressive behavior and violations of campus rules, yet neither the Biden administration nor university officials seem to take action.

In one alarming case, a 33-year-old Chinese national, linked to the University of Michigan, was arrested for supposedly plotting to introduce harmful bacteria into Midwest farmlands.

The issue also extends to individuals overstaying their visas, turning what should be temporary visits into unlawful residency.

One notable example is Egyptian citizen Mohammed Sabri Soliman, who overstayed his visa with his family before reportedly attempting to commit acts of violence.

Americans have largely supported the state of affairs at the border under Biden’s administration, which has prompted calls for the resignation of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Nonetheless, Biden, or perhaps those advising him, seem unlikely to make changes to immigration laws anytime soon.

This raises questions about the motivations behind Biden’s management of border policy. Is it a matter of incompetence or an intentional shift in demographics to build political support?

Are there deeper ambitions at play, such as nurturing a broader welfare state or appealing to those who frame themselves as victims?

Ultimately, the reasons behind Biden’s actions may remain unclear, but the implications of his decisions are already evident, and many believe the country will feel the consequences for years to come.
