US Supports Israel Amid Attacks from Iran
Recent emails from US officials reveal that the United States is assisting Israel in response to a barrage of missiles launched as retaliatory strikes from Iran.
This situation escalated after Israel initiated Operation Raisinglion, aimed at Iran’s nuclear facilities and military leaders, prompting Iran to retaliate. While the US acknowledged being aware of Israel’s strategic plans, it emphasized that it is not directly involved in the operations.
“Israel has hundreds of thousands of American citizens and other American assets,” officials stated in a communication to Fox News.
US officials confirmed their support for Israel as it faces missile attacks, reiterating that protecting American lives abroad is a priority.
An email from Blaze News affirmed this support, noting that while the US is helping Israel intercept Iranian missiles, specific operational details remain undisclosed.
Concerns about military activity in the Middle East have surfaced following directives from the Pentagon to withdraw personnel from embassies and facilities within reach of Iran’s military capabilities.
Reactions to this situation include remarks from Iran’s defense minister, who implied significant repercussions if military action is taken against Iran. “If war was imposed on Iran, the United States would definitely suffer more losses than we do,” stated General Aziz Nasirzadeh in comments to reporters.
He also asserted that Iran is prepared to attack US military bases, referring to them as “the host state,” without hesitation.
Israeli defense operations, including the Iron Dome, have been active in intercepting missiles launched towards them.
A former spokesman for the Israeli Defense Forces, Jonathan Conricus, suggested that Israel’s offensive actions are only the beginning of a larger conflict. “This isn’t the end; it’s the beginning,” he remarked.
