Trump declares a truce between Iran and Israel: 'GOD BLESS THE WORLD'

Trump Announces Ceasefire Between Iran and Israel

On Monday, President Donald Trump surprised many by declaring that Iran and Israel had come to a ceasefire after a conflict that deeply impacted the Middle East.

The president referred to the conflict as the “12-day war” in a post on social media.

He stated, “This was a war that had been going on for years, destroying the entire Middle East, but not anymore, and it never will!”

Trump expressed his congratulations, noting, “There is a complete agreement between Israel and Iran. After about six hours into the ceasefire, they completed their final mission, and now, the war is officially over!”

According to him, Iran would initiate a ceasefire, with Israel joining in 12 hours later.

“Assuming everything goes well, I congratulate both nations for their endurance, courage, and intelligence. It should be called the ’12-day war,'” he added, affirming the positive implications for the region.

He concluded with a message of goodwill: “God bless Israel, God bless Iran, God bless the Middle East, God bless the United States, and God bless the world!”

However, his announcement did not indicate whether Iran had made concessions regarding its nuclear enrichment program.

Shortly after, Vice President JD Vance confirmed the ceasefire during an interview on Fox News with Bret Baier. He mentioned, “We were actually working on it when I left the White House, and I’m glad that the president was able to get this across the finish line.” Vance further elaborated, “What this means is quite simple. Traditionally, every president has had one American casualty and has targeted Iran’s nuclear program.”

He elaborated, “We’re now in a position that we weren’t a week ago. Last week, Iran was incredibly close to obtaining a nuclear weapon. Now, that capability has been diminished because we have essentially disrupted their program.”

“That’s significant,” he added. “We need to discuss what lies ahead for Iran and Israel, as we’ve curtailed Iran’s nuclear ambitions, and we hope they won’t attempt to rebuild that program again.”

Vance went on to explain that the president’s aim was to secure a “long-term settlement” that would promote “regional peace.”

This is a developing story, and updates will follow.
