President Trump has previously called on Israel to find a way to end the war in Gaza before the start of his term, but he issued his strongest threat yet against terrorists, saying that if he takes office, the United States could end the war in the Middle East. warned that he would be directly involved. Request not fulfilled.
“Everyone is talking about hostages being held in the Middle East in extremely violent, inhumane, and against the will of the entire world. But it's all talk and no action!” Trump said. I wrote this on Truth Social:
“Please let this truth be known: If the hostages are not released by January 20, 2025, the day I am proudly sworn in as President of the United States, there will be hell in the Middle East. Those responsible for committing these atrocities against humanity,” he said.
“Those responsible will be hit harder than anyone else in the long and storied history of the United States. Release the hostages now!”
Trump's warning came hours after the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed that hostage Omer Neutra had died., killed by Hamas during the October 7 riotsth Terrorist attack on Israel.
Neutra was believed to be alive, but the Israel Defense Forces revealed that his body was one of 35 people held in Gaza, along with 62 living hostages.
Meanwhile, Hamas is still in possession of the bodies of three other Israeli-Americans. The three Israeli-Americans are believed to still be alive.
The Biden administration has spent the past year trying to reach a ceasefire agreement to free the hostages, but it is unlikely to be able to reach a deal to release the prisoners before his term ends next month.
The question then turns to Trump, who has repeatedly warned Israel and Hamas to end the war before taking back the White House.
President Trump's position on ending the war in Gaza before returning to the White House remains unchanged, according to Sen. Lindsey Graham (RS.C.). Axios Reported.
“Mr. Trump is more determined than ever to free hostages and supports a ceasefire that includes hostage trading. He wants to see that happen now,” Graham told the magazine. Ta.
