Amy Eskridge, a researcher from Huntsville, Alabama, passed away in 2022, becoming the 11th scientist to die or vanish under strange circumstances. Her death has gained attention as a number of recent cases involving individuals linked to military, nuclear, and aerospace research raise concerns about possible connections.
President Donald Trump commented on the situation, stating he recently had a meeting about it and expressed that it was “pretty serious.” He promised updates in the coming days, saying, “I hope it’s random, but we’ll find out within the next week and a half.”
While officials haven’t confirmed a connection between these incidents, the coincidence of timing and the specialists’ ties to advanced research have sparked public speculation.
Eskridge died on June 11, 2022, at the age of 34, and her death was classified as a self-inflicted gunshot wound, although not much information has been publicly disclosed. She co-founded the Exotic Science Institute and her work included exploring experimental propulsion concepts, particularly what’s referred to as “anti-gravity” research.
In a 2020 interview, she described her experiences with harassment and intimidation after claiming to have discovered anti-gravity, saying, “We discovered anti-gravity, our lives were (expletive) destroyed.” Eskridge pointed out that public visibility could lead to more attention, contrasting it with the dangers faced by those who remain out of the spotlight.
She also mentioned the increasing pressure in her field, emphasizing the need to publish research to avoid further complications. The atmosphere was becoming “more and more aggressive,” she noted.
Eskridge’s passing has been discussed by various prominent figures, including retired Air Force officials and NASA scientists, in the context of other mysterious deaths and disappearances in the scientific community.
The Department of Energy’s National Nuclear Security Administration confirmed they are looking into these matters but have not found any evidence tying Eskridge’s death to the other incidents. Neither have they established a link between her professional endeavors and the circumstances surrounding her passing.
Despite this, her case has ignited online chatter and speculation within the alternative technology community, as some individuals question the nature of her death. As of now, though, such claims lack verification and have not been substantiated by official findings.
