Trump states that Russia-Ukraine discussions will start ‘right away’ after speaking with Putin.

Trump Discusses Peace Negotiations Between Russia and Ukraine

On Monday, President Donald Trump stated that negotiations between Russia and Ukraine would commence “quickly.”

In a post regarding the True Society, he shared insights from a two-hour conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, claiming that the call was “very well.”

I think both sides are feeling somewhat comfortable with the current direction.

Trump expressed confidence that a ceasefire agreement could be achieved soon, leading to discussions aimed at concluding the “war.”

He mentioned that negotiations would largely be determined by both parties involved, noting that they had insights into the discussions that might not be widely recognized. The overall tone of the call, according to him, was quite positive.

The president also indicated that Putin showed interest in establishing “a massive trade with the United States once this devastating ‘blood bath’ comes to a close.”

Trump elaborated, saying, “There’s a tremendous opportunity for Russia to create significant jobs and wealth. The possibilities are endless. At the same time, Ukraine stands to gain from trade as it rebuilds.”

Additionally, Trump pointed out that the Vatican was prepared to facilitate negotiation talks.

On Saturday, Secretary of State Marco Rubio suggested that the Vatican could provide a suitable setting for these discussions. “I believe it’s a conducive environment for both parties,” Rubio remarked, acknowledging the Vatican’s willingness to play a constructive role.

As of now, the Vatican has not responded to inquiries regarding this matter.
