President Donald Trump said that if he was assassinated by the Iranian administration, he had given instructions on how the United States would respond.
Trump commented on Tuesday while talking about the White House media briefing. The reporter asked him about the possibility that Iran could assassinate him or his team.
“If they do it, they will be erased. Nothing remains.”
“Well, they don't do it. It's not for me, it's a terrible thing for them, if they did it, they would be killed,” He answered.
“It's over. I left the instructions,” he added.
Trump has been criticized for removing the security protection of his former administration, including former national security advisor John Bolton and former Secretary of State Secretary Mike Pompeo, to remove the security protection of his previous administration.
“If they do it, they will be killed. Nothing will remain,” said Trump.
“And they shouldn't be able to do that, and Biden should have said that, but he didn't do that, I don't know why, but probably lack of intelligence. He never said it, “he added. “If it happens to a leader, or if it's close to a leader, frankly, if other people are involved, it asks for the complete erasing of the nation that has done it. It will include Iran. “
Trump has put pressure on Iran and signed an administrative order to prevent the government from acquiring nuclear weapons.
“So this is what I was torn, everyone wants me to sign, but I want to do it, but it's very difficult for Iran.” He explained.
“I'm signed this, and I'm dissatisfied with doing it,” he continued. “But we have to be strong and solid, so we don't really have much options. I hope it must be used a lot. It would be wonderful if we could have the Middle East.
He said he wanted to have a good relationship with the Iranian administration, but was not allowed to have nuclear weapons.
