President Trump’s Address on Iran
On Saturday evening, President Donald Trump delivered a national address following the U.S. military’s bombing of Iran, which was coordinated with Israeli operations.
In his speech, Trump outlined the details of the military attack, stating that further U.S. strikes would occur if Iranian leaders fail to agree to a peace agreement.
He described the strike as “an epic military success,” noting that Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely eliminated. “Our goal was to dismantle Iran’s nuclear capabilities and mitigate the nuclear threat they pose as the top national sponsor of terrorism,” Trump asserted. “Tonight, I can confidently declare that the strike was a remarkable military achievement. Iran has lost its prominent nuclear enrichment facility. They must make peace, as a bully in the Middle East.”
During the address, Vice President J.D. Vance, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stood in support of Trump.
Trump went on to express his gratitude to Israeli Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu, saying, “We worked together as a cohesive unit. This effort has significantly reduced the threat Israel has faced, perhaps like never before. Kudos to the Israeli military for their incredible efforts.”
The President continued to acknowledge the military for their success. “It’s either peace, or Iran will face consequences far graver than what we’ve witnessed in the past few days,” he emphasized. “Keep in mind, there are still numerous targets left. Last night was the most challenging and possibly the deadliest of our operations. But if peace doesn’t materialize quickly, we will accurately and swiftly take out additional targets, most of which can be neutralized in mere minutes.”
He concluded his address by thanking a higher power, saying, “And I would like to express my gratitude to everyone, especially God. We sincerely love you, God, and honor our brave military. God bless the Middle East.”
