President-elect Trump's newly appointed “border czar” has refuted media claims that the incoming administration will deport Americans under Trump's mass deportation plan to secure the southern border.

On Monday's “Hannity,” Fox News host Sean Hannity told former acting ICE Director Tom Homan that the new administration is legitimate, following the claims made that day on ABC's “The View.” asked if he intended to deport US citizens.

“No, not at all,” Homan said. “You know, 'The View' is an island of totally misfit toys. They don't know what the hell they're talking about.”

Homan was reacting to comments from “The View” co-host Ana Navarro, who said Trump's plan to avoid separating households with mixed immigration status claimed that U.S. citizens would be deported. She also claimed that there were not enough criminal illegal aliens in the country to carry out a mass deportation plan.

“It means grandmothers, it means brothers and aunts, it means abuelos and abuelas, it means dreamers. It means family, it means your colleagues. I mean,” she continued.

Homan pushed back against Navarro's claims during an appearance on “Hannity.”

“President Trump has made it clear that he will prioritize public safety and national security threats first, and that should be the focus,” he said.

“There are over 1.5 million convicted criminal aliens in this country who have final deportation orders and we are conducting searches. Thousands of gang members, illegal aliens, If someone is in the country illegally, it's definitely not comfortable. I would not be comfortable if I was in another country illegally. If you enter this country illegally, you are committing a crime, so you should feel safe. ”

Tom Homan disputed claims on ABC's “The View” that President Trump is deporting legal U.S. citizens as part of a mass deportation plan.

“We're going to go get them,” Homan told Hannity.

“And today, I saw a lot of governors in sanctuary states say they are going to get in the way. They better get out of the way. Either you help us or get out of the way. Because ICE will do it.'We're going to take the handcuffs off ICE that the Biden administration has put on them and let ICE do what they're supposed to do, what they do best.'' Ta.

“And let me say this back to 'The View' and Joe Biden,” Homan continued. “They promised, this administration promised to focus on criminal aliens. That was their priority, Secretary Mayorkas said. If you look at the statistics today, President Trump There are more criminals here than ever before. And the people of this new regime are going to go look for them in sanctuary cities. Don't cities want to help? I'm doubling the workforce in that sanctuary city, we're doing it, so get used to it. we are coming ”
