Representative Dan Goldman (D-NY) on Tuesday claimed MSNBC’s “deadline” that President Donald Trump’s executive order and immigration policies are turning America into a “banana republic.”
Discussing immigrants deported to El Salvador, Goldman said, “This is not about MS13. It’s not terrorism. They’re wrong about it. This is political for them. They’re leaving, and they charge all the business, so Donald Trump raises prices and wins huge sums. We’ll be employees as long as we’re talking about immigration, but this isn’t about whether he’s a terrorist or not. Banana Republic.”
Host Nicole Wallace said, “Is Doji corrupted under Pam Bondy?”
Goldman said, “If you look into Chris Krebs and Miles Taylor because Donald Trump told them to do it, it goes against the banana republic of all normative values and moral integrity of the Department of Justice. When they carry out that order, they are absolutely part of and part of corruption.”
