In a speech at Turning Point USA's AmericaFest over the weekend, glenn beck He celebrated President-elect Donald Trump's victory and warned of potential infiltrators as the Republican Party's popularity soars.
“When I came here last year, I said there are a million ways this country could fall apart, but there is only one way this country can stay united, and that is from Almighty God. It's a miracle,” Beck told the AmFest audience.
“We have to make sure that people who are wearing masks aren't coming into the team and claiming to be part of this team. They're not going to be part of this team.”
Beck spoke about the first assassination attempt on Trump at a July rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
“I immediately thought, 'If he dies, it's civil war,'” he continued, suggesting it was an act of God that Trump escaped with only minor injuries.
Beck said God is “waiting for us to do the rest of the work.”
“We have a lot of work to do in front of us, but wait a minute. Doesn't it feel good to win?” he asked.
The audience responded with wild cheers.
Beck explained that if Trump had remained in the White House in 2020, he “wouldn't have the same mindset that he has today.”
“He wouldn't have done all the due diligence to get rid of so many weasels. He didn't have a long list of all the people who needed to leave the country — believe me, he didn't do it. “I checked it twice,” Beck said.
He also spoke about the decline of corporate media, saying that AmFest's media constellation, which is packed with dozens of alternative media outlets, is “more powerful than ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN and MSNBC combined.”
“This is a new world. And believe me, the next 2020 presidential debate will likely discuss things like: Blaze TV than watching it on ABC. They are finished,” he declared.
Mr Beck warned that while this is a “time of peace”, resistance is on the horizon. He warned that the left will relentlessly seek ways to divide the conservative movement.
“Now that he's gotten this much popularity, all of a sudden Donald Trump is cool with everyone. We have to make sure that people don't come in wearing masks and claim to be part of this team. , they have no intention of joining the team.''
In particular, Beck warned that those in the corporate media, who for years likened Trump to Adolf Hitler, are now on the back foot as viewership plummets.
“We have to be careful, we have to keep watch, believe me. [former President Ronald] President Reagan said, but check.''
Beck asked the audience to recite the Oath of Alliance with him before detailing the meaning of each line.
“If you really want to know who is on our side, you look for these things. “Look for people who take their promises seriously,” he said. “We remain resolute and steadfast in defending these things. We believe in our Creator.”
He declared that it is “impossible” for America to be divided as long as its people are united around rights. Mr. Beck encouraged the audience to read and familiarize themselves with our nation's founding documents.
“If you want to keep a free country, read the books, read the Bible, and choose carefully,” he concluded.
