of U.S. Food and Drug Administration The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced Thursday that it was rescinding a June 2022 order that temporarily halted the sale of Juul Labs products, including e-cigarette devices.
This latest move comes months after Juul applied for approval of new menthol-flavored pods intended for use with e-cigarette devices, which were under FDA review.

FDA in June 2022 The ban on jules The company has suspended sales of four tobacco- and menthol-flavored pods and e-cigarette devices after concluding it had failed to demonstrate that the sale of these products was in the interest of public health.
The ban was postponed a month later after the company appealed.
The FDA said revoking its order banning the product from sale does not mean it will approve or deny Juul’s marketing application — it will simply put the company’s application back on hold or under review.

“We appreciate the FDA’s decision and look forward to working with them again to pursue marketing authorization for Juul products through a science-based process,” Juul said in a statement to Reuters.
E-cigarette manufacturers have challenged FDA-issued sales denials on multiple occasions in various US states.
“Several of these court decisions establish new precedent and will affect how FDA reviews products,” the FDA said.

The authorities have begun to regulate Electronic Cigarette Devices E-cigarettes and e-cigarettes were approved in August 2016. To date, 23 types of e-cigarette products have been approved for sale in the United States.
The FDA said its continued review of Juul’s application does not change the fact that all e-cigarette products must be approved by the FDA before they can be legally sold.
