The video shows a group of relevant California citizens chasing, tackling and detaining a man suspected of committing arson, according to multiple reports.
At 4:32pm on Monday, the Los Angeles Sheriff's Office received reports that the man had set fire to a neighbourhood outside of Los Angeles.
“When lawmakers searched for the suspect, they found a light, small amount of cash, a car battery jumper kit in his pocket.”
Several people were seen in video chasing an arson suspect around Chatsworth, about 30 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles.

Taylor said KTTV The arson suspect was acting suspiciously.
“It seemed a little strange that there was a man there after it was reported that the brush fire had just passed a quarter mile road,” Taylor said. “And he's doing something in the bushes.”
Taylor continued, “The residents were furious. They went through the fire of woolsey, which started just a mile from there. With all the dry vegetation, they said he would start another fire and lose his home. I was really worried about it.”

Cortez said Los Angeles Times Regarding the arson, he said, “He was avoiding the group following him. He seemed to be telling him to hand him over, and you can see in my video that someone started chasing him, He looked scary.”
The Los Angeles Sheriff's Office statement“A witness pointed out the suspect and told deputies he witnessed him lit a brush fire near Knap Ranch Road and Woolsey Canyon Road. Witnesses said the suspect fired the fire. He said he left the place. The witness continued in the car.”
Officers from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Office responded quickly to arrest the suspected arson.
It can be heard in a video of a woman telling Martinez to “The Wrong Neighborhood, Buddy” while officers handcuff the suspect.
Police have identified the suspect as 41-year-old Alejandro Martinez.
Authorities said there is already a warrant for Martinez's arrest but they have not provided details.

Martinez faces felony charges of structural or forest arson, and is faced with one count of aggravated situations that increase the severity of previous convictions. If convicted of all charges, Martinez reportedly faces prison for up to six years and eight months.
Martinez exists held No bail to Twin Towers Correctional Facility.
Authorities said the fire was on fire near where Martinez was arrested.
The fire burned about 100 square feet of brush area before it was wiped out by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Cortez said, “Thank God that there was no strong winds, because it could have been very bad. Given all the recent fires, the community and people are now saying these types of things. I know very well.”

An investigation was launched by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Arson/Explosion Force.
