Time revealed the cover of the latest magazine portraying Elon Musk as the real president, and President Donald Trump responded hilariously.
Time Cover show The billionaire tech entrepreneur behind the famous Resolute Desk in the Oval Office led the publication to speculate that it was trying to draw vy hope from the president for his powerful allies .
“They are trying to oppose Trump and hope that his ego will drive him away Elon.”
When asked about the cover by a reporter on Friday, Trump gave a typical humorous response.
“Is Time Magazine still in business? I didn't know that,” he said.
“Eron does a great job. He's fighting incredible fraud, corruption and waste,” Trump added. “You'll meet him with USAID, but you're going to see him more with other agencies and other parts of the government. He has great staff.”
Trump was responsible for masks over a new federal agency called Government Efficiency, which aims to audit programs for policies against Trump's executive orders. Democrats accused Musk of illegal conduct because they targeted the US International Development Agency, created by Congress.
blazetv Contributor TJ Moe summed up what many believed in time covering.
“Today's Time Magazine Cover. They're opposed to Trump and hope that his ego will push Elon away. That's not going to work.” He said.
At the White House, another reporter asked if Trump had musk on the podium to ask questions from the media.
“Yes, he's not shy. Elon is not shy,” he replied.
