Walmart Cutting Hundreds Of Corporate Jobs, Relocating Majority Of Remote Workers To HQ

Walmart announced Tuesday that it plans to cut hundreds of jobs at its corporate headquarters and relocate most of its remote employees based in the U.S. and Canada to three offices.

In a memo to U.S. campuses, Donna Morris, Walmart’s chief human resources officer, said: “We have the majority of our employees working remotely, as well as our employees within our global tech offices in Atlanta, Dallas and Toronto. We are asking the majority of our staff to relocate.” Tuesday Associate.

The retail giant also said it would cut “hundreds” of roles at its headquarters due to new changes in parts of its business, but did not provide further details.

Meanwhile, Walmart is scheduled to release its latest quarterly results on Thursday. The announcement comes a month after Walmart announced it would suspend all virtual health care services and shut down all 51 health care centers in six states.

Walmart also faced another turmoil as shoppers learned they were entitled to nearly $500 as part of a settlement of a class action lawsuit by Walmart for overcharging consumers for certain items. I’m caught up in it.
