Rapid increase in resources

“There have always been people crossing borders,” Attorney General Aaron Nielson told the court. “But before, we were talking about hundreds of thousands of people. Now we’re talking about millions. Before, we were talking about tens of thousands of unaccompanied minors. Now we’re talking about hundreds of thousands. We’re talking about. Before we were talking about a few countries. The administration contends that Texas’ efforts, such as constructing razor wire and placing buoys in the Rio Grande, impede federal enforcement of immigration law.
