2025 Tax Day restaurant offers and savings to help reduce meal costs

As Tax Day nears, various restaurant chains are rolling out promotions designed to help customers save on meals.

During this hectic time, when households are managing paperwork and deadlines, these limited-time deals provide an opportunity to cut down on costs. Whether it’s discounts on specific menu items, app-related perks, or delivery offers, these promotions make it easier for diners to enjoy a meal without overspending.

Subway

Until April 28, Subway is offering buy-one-get-one (BOGO) deals on selected Footlong sandwiches exclusively to members of the Subway Sub Club through the app and their online ordering system. Locations may have variations, but those who order digitally can enjoy these promotions to help lower costs.

Grubhub

Grubhub has several tax season offers, including the chance for customers to earn credits related to previous delivery charges. From April 6 to April 15, diners can receive a $20 credit when they submit a receipt from a food delivery order made in 2025. They are also promoting savings on current orders, like discounts on larger purchases and waived shipping fees on eligible orders over $50.

Qdoba

Qdoba is running a promotion dubbed “Guac Relief,” which provides additional savings over the usual prices. Rewards members can earn a $5 reward for buying a full-size entree through April 15 by completing a brief online survey. These credits, issued at month-end, can be used for a limited timeframe

Olive Garden

Olive Garden has reintroduced its popular “Buy One, Take One” sale at participating locations across the country. Customers can enjoy one entree starting at $14.99, including popular choices like fettuccine alfredo and spaghetti with meat sauce, and take two chilled entrees home at no extra cost. Dine-in patrons can also enjoy unlimited soup or salad alongside the chain’s famous breadsticks.

Kona Ice

Kona Ice is hosting its annual “Chill Out Day” on April 15, offering free shaved ice in any flavor at participating Kona Ice trucks nationwide.

Do check with individual restaurants or their apps for specific offers, pricing, and participation, as these details may differ by location.
