Police Incident at Domino’s Pizza in Glassboro
In Glassboro, New Jersey, two men were filmed throwing chairs at police officers during a chaotic altercation inside a Domino’s Pizza on Saturday morning.
Officers responded to a large brawl around 2:44 a.m. and took action to arrest individuals involved. Authorities reported that two black men—one in a gray jacket and another in a light blue sweatshirt—picked up a chair and hurled it at the officers, hitting one in the back of the head. The police emphasized that this act seemed intentional, and the suspects appeared highly agitated as they fled the scene.
“Out of nowhere, I looked to the left and saw a chair flying just down this hallway,” one witness recalled.
The officer who was struck received on-site medical attention and is anticipated to make a full recovery. Initially, police sought public assistance to identify the suspects but later announced that one had been identified through additional updates over social media.
However, the footage capturing the incident, including the moment the chair was thrown, has been removed from the police department’s online posts, as have the images of the suspects.
Authorities indicated that they would provide further information in a news release if possible.
In a related incident, a 15-year-old girl has been accused of throwing a chair at a teacher, causing significant injury that required hospital care.
A Domino’s employee described the scene: “It was chaos… people were throwing punches… I even saw one girl punch another in the face. Then, I looked left, and there was a chair soaring through the air.”
Glassboro is situated about 40 minutes from Philadelphia, with the Domino’s location being close to Rowan University.
