The woman accused of dining and dashing in NYC caught twice in a day—while taunting the police.

A Brooklyn woman, known for her Prada style and love of fine dining, has been stirring up trouble in the New York culinary scene. She took to social media on Monday to announce her plans to hit two more popular restaurants over the weekend, all while making fun of a police officer who discarded her leftover meal.

Pei Chun, 34, has been caught up in a string of incidents since late October, allegedly ordering extravagant meals at high-end restaurants and posing as an influencer seeking free promotions. She’s faced arrest five times in that period for racking up bills in the hundreds, only to claim she had no intention of paying, according to recent reports.

Each incident led to charges of theft of services, a serious charge, but she was released after each arrest.

Dressed in designer gear, including Prada heels and Louis Vuitton bags, Chun is believed to have visited additional establishments over the weekend, sharing updates from her dining exploits even after her latest arrest.

“She carries herself in a way that’s relatable at first glance, given her Instagram presence, but it’s a facade,” a manager of the trendy Sea Thai restaurant remarked after she dined there Saturday evening.

Chun showcased her lavish orders from both Sea Thai and Misi, indulging in expensive dishes like filet mignon and shrimp pasta before police arrested her again.

On Friday, she entered Misi, ordered roughly $100 worth of food, and then, as the NYPD reported, refused to pay. The next night, she did something similar at See Thai, accruing a $123 bill and again, failing to pay up, which resulted in her second arrest over the weekend.

In an Instagram post, she seemed to mock the situation, complaining about the police officer who “threw out” her professionally arranged meal.

Witnesses at Sea Thai noted her peculiar behavior, as she spent hours alone at the table and frequently photographed her meals. According to the manager, as the restaurant filled up, staff asked Chun if she was ready to settle her bill – to which she didn’t respond, leading to further suspicions.

Guests seated nearby recognized her from previous stories and informed the staff, prompting security to contact the police.

Reportedly, during the encounters, she told officers that her inability to pay was linked to the government not reimbursing her taxes.

Interestingly, while wearing a luxurious outfit and wielding high-end camera gear, she had been seen earlier filming herself at a local store. “You look at her and think she’s living the high life,” said one observer, noting her high-fashion accessories, but the reality was quite different.

The odd scene escalated when police arrived to find that Chun had nothing but a takeaway bag with her – no means to settle her dining debts.

Since late October, Chun’s behavior has spiraled, allegedly targeting well-known restaurants, racking up hefty bills while pretending to be a food influencer. Sources indicated that she was often seen leaving the premises and disappearing into restrooms, further raising suspicions about her intentions.

It’s notable that despite her mounting legal troubles, Chun continues to share flattering reviews of meals she never actually paid for, painting a picture of a food lover enjoying life, while the reality tells another story.

Attempts to reach Chun for comment were unsuccessful, and her lawyer had also declined to provide a statement.
